Funding Your Unit
Popcorn sales provide great opportunities for money earning projects. For other money earning projects, units must submit a Unit Money Earning Application. This application should be submitted at least two weeks prior to any fundraiser. Please email your application to email@example.com. When planning, refer to the BSA’s Guide to Unit Money Earning Projects.

Friends of Scouting
The Friends of Scouting campaign is a significant part of the financing of the La Salle Council and all of the support programs, facilities and services provided to over 7,000 youth and adult volunteers in our council who use and benefit from the various programs of the Boy Scouts of America.
Each unit – Pack, Troop, Crew, Post, Club, Team is asked to have a Friends of Scouting presentation during the first quarter of 2018. Units are asked to plan 10-15 minutes during their Blue & Gold Banquet, or Court of Honor, or other gathering when the parents are present. A District representative will come to your meeting to deliver a brief presentation and to give each family the opportunity to say “Yes, I will support Scouting!” and to make a pledge payable over the rest of the year.
All Scouting needs is your support in planning for this very important presentation of the Friends of Scouting to all Scouting families.
